Capt. Ed chose the St Lucie Estuary and the Indian River Lagoon on central Florida's Treasure Coast to set up Local Color Guide Service for 2 main reasons. One! Capt. Ed has lived and fished here his whole life. Capt. Ed grew up in Port Salerno, Fl., spending most of his time fishing in or near the waters of the St. Lucie Estuary and Indian River Lagoon. Two! The areas of Ft. Pierce, Stuart and Jupiter are synonymous with some of the world's best inshore flats fishing. Depending on the time of year and season, Capt. Ed produces sea trout, redfish, snook, tarpon, shark and grouper throughout the Indian River region year round.

Ed specializes in light tackle spin and fly tackle inshore flats fishing, targeting such species as trout, snook, redfish, and tarpon, around the areas of Ft Pierce, Stuart, Jupiter along the Indian River Lagoon. Capt. Ed has been guiding anglers and passing on his knowledge as a professional guide for over 10 years.

Rigged with a poling platform, Minn-Kota trolling motor, Power Pole and Hummingbird 997 side scan sonar.
